Pause and listen to Bishop David Oyedepo speak about the life of the late Rev. S. A. Sadela, popularly known as Baba Sadela. Those who grew up or lived in Gbagada, Lagos, will remember him. Baba Sadela founded the Gospel Apostolic Church (GAC) in 1959 after experiencing the early revival and receiving mentorship from Apostle Ayo Babalola. He was from Imoru, in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State. Throughout his life, he remained committed to preaching the gospel, serving God, and teaching His Word. He travelled to many communities to preach, endured hardships for the sake of the gospel, and remained joyful in his walk with God. Through his ministry, many powerful miracles, healings, deliverances, signs, and wonders took place. One remarkable testimony was about a young man who was brought to a revival meeting dead, and God brought him back to life through Baba Sadela. For over 80 years, his faith, strength, and joy in God remained firm. He went to be with the Lord in August 2014 at the age of 114. Some of God's generals of old deserve to be celebrated and honoured. They lived for God, and God worked mightily through their lives. May we never forget the men and women who faithfully served God and left a lasting legacy of faith.

The protocol officer who pointed Bishop David Oyedepo in the direction of this young man is a perfect example of what we call a destiny helper. What he did may seem small and insignificant, but it made a big difference. Bishop could have easily walked past without noticing the young man or his work. But thanks to that protocol officer for taking the time to point Bishop in his direction. Sometimes, being a destiny helper doesn't require doing something big. One simple act, one connection, or one introduction can change someone's life forever.
