Finding a solution to the Closing Auction Session (CAS) The 3:15 pm Move in Nifty & Sensex The last 4 days' data show that positions the smart money is building during 3:00 pm to 3:14 pm have a high impact on the closing price. Discussed with Data points. All 4 days cannot be a coincidence. Today on Sensex Expiry: At 3:00 pm 140 cr of put writing happened At 3:10 pm 100 cr of call writing happened At 3:14 pm 52.8 cr of call writing happened The CAS session favoured both as what happened yesterday: first #sensex went up and then the closing price went in favour of the shorts. But in #Nifty we had only long positions by the smart money today between 3 pm to 3:14 pm. 77400 ce went >15x 77300 ce went almost 10x 2:58 pm 43 cr of put writing & 20 cr of call buying & the 3 pm pump on a Sensex 0DTE. Even before 3 pm there were long positions built up in both Nifty & Sensex, near the support zone and I did my best to warn you all on the livestream. I hope it helped.
