GB News presenter Alex Armstrong and commentator Bernadette Spofforth have been ordered to apologise to and pay damages to Mothin Ali after suggesting he took part in the racist riots in Leeds in 2024. In reality, he was asked to attend the scene by the police. He then tried to calm the situation and even put himself in danger by trying to stop someone from pushing a wheelie bin into a fire.
