People criticised James Tavernier for years about his mentality, but this is why he was captain under multiple managers. Led by example for years, and with better teammates around him he’d of won plenty more trophies. Also, I absolutely thought Tav and Goldson were absolute best mates but doesn’t seem like it 😂

I don’t agree with him a lot, but Ewen Cameron is spot on here. Willie Collum as Head of Referees can’t continue - any other line of work he’d of been sacked. The referees aren’t good enough. There are inconsistencies every single week with offsides, handballs, penalties… it’s a shambles. This isn’t even a Rangers / Celtic issue for me, it’s Scottish football in general. Week after week the same bizarre decisions and mistakes, with the same cast of referees then rolled out the week after.

This from Neil McCann on SportScene is spot on. We do this for 90 minutes most games, and have done all season. It’s not a surprise we can’t break teams down when we’re this slow and negative, never showing bravery on the ball.

Ironically Connor Coady, who was heavily linked with joining Rangers all summer, has nailed this.

Couhaib Driouech 🇲🇦 Seems a bit too good to be true if Rangers manage to get him in, but exactly the kind of rumour I love!

As pointed out by JB Wirral Ranger, watch Rothwell for this clip for their third goal last night. “Running” back in slow motion, so can’t stop the initial pass across the pitch, then too deep and marking nobody in our box, too slow to get out and press, poor header into danger and finally isn’t in position to block the shot. Multiple points of failure, and maybe harsh to single one player out when others are also at fault.. but just really isn’t good enough.

I hate VAR as much as the next guy, but imagine the referees in Scotland were let loose without it. Look at this penalty Lloyd Wilson gave on Saturday 🤯
