I don’t agree with him a lot, but Ewen Cameron is spot on here. Willie Collum as Head of Referees can’t continue - any other line of work he’d of been sacked. The referees aren’t good enough. There are inconsistencies every single week with offsides, handballs, penalties… it’s a shambles. This isn’t even a Rangers / Celtic issue for me, it’s Scottish football in general. Week after week the same bizarre decisions and mistakes, with the same cast of referees then rolled out the week after.

As pointed out by JB Wirral Ranger, watch Rothwell for this clip for their third goal last night. “Running” back in slow motion, so can’t stop the initial pass across the pitch, then too deep and marking nobody in our box, too slow to get out and press, poor header into danger and finally isn’t in position to block the shot. Multiple points of failure, and maybe harsh to single one player out when others are also at fault.. but just really isn’t good enough.
