A Venezuelan ex-mayor who was deported back to Venezuela from the US says he watched as members of the Armed Forces who had deserted the regime were detained by chavista forces after also being deported. The Trump admin is sending dissidents back to be tortured in socialist dictatorships

My mentions are all racist ‘progressives’ claiming I’m a nazi because of my name. Meanwhile this is my grandpa, one of Venezuelas comedy icons. Here he plays a Venezuelan from the slums in 1960’s Dos Gallos en Palenque. He is the one who named my uncle German. I’m named after my uncle. My abuelo Guillermo (Julian Pacheco) would be laughing so hard at these gringos right now.

A message to the The New York Times from millions of Venezuelans: please stop promoting our Chief of Torture as the solution to our crisis. Delcy Rodriguez is one of the architects of our hemisphere’s most severe modern crises. Have some respect.

Dear John Leguizamo: It's easy to be condescending to victims of socialism from Hollywood mansions . You don’t know more about socialism because you’re rich and famous. Millions of Venezuelans, Cubans, Nicaraguans and Eastern Europeans don’t fear socialism because of politics. We fear it because we’ve lived through its consequences.
