Today, I walked across the stage as a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Social Work. But long before the robe and the honor cords, there was a little boy in Makoko with absolute FAITH in God who dared to rewrite his story. These degrees (Masters of Social Work and Certificate in Nonprofit Management) are more than academic milestones. They are markers of God’s ever sure mercies, grit, and grace. Grateful to be surrounded by the Dean, my professors, mentors, and well-wishers who poured into me throughout this journey. To every child from humble backgrounds and communities like mine: your beginnings may be humble, but your future is not limited by your environment. “Faithful is He who calls you, who also will do it.” —1 Thessalonians 5:24 #socialwork #UGA #MakokoToTheWorld #gratitude #FaithJourney #graduation #communityimpact #goddidit #jesusrevealedjesusglorified
