142 people downloaded my Hermes Bots mobile app 43 of you sent feedback. I implemented all of it. I respect Nous Research and I don't want to get in any conflict. With that said... The app has a new name and icon: Herald, Companion for Hermes Agent. Still my unofficial app, now a lot closer to what you asked for. Here’s what changed 👇 Setup is much easier Run npx herald-setup on your computer. It configures Hermes, Tailscale, and a password. Scan the QR code and connect. You can also enter a Tailscale name, IP, or domain. Herald handles port and HTTPS detection. Pairing the same machine again updates it instead of creating duplicates, and the app handles signing back in after authentication errors. All your Bots in one place Connect multiple computers and see their Bots in one roster. Search across Bots, groups, and machines, with indicators showing who’s awake, working, or offline. Start a session in Telegram, your terminal, or Hermes Desktop and continue from your phone. Bots on different machines can join the same group, and the Kanban board now has activity badges. Photos, video, and audio inside the conversation Attach photos and they stay in the thread as thumbnails, even after you reopen the chat. An SVG your Bot drew, an MP3 it recorded, or a video it rendered now appears inline instead of as a file path. Tap to view full screen, share, or play directly in the chat. Media comes from your own Hermes and is cached on your phone. A much better chat experience Select and copy messages, copy code blocks with one tap, and preview HTML or SVG without leaving the conversation. Voice notes and dictation run through your own Hermes. On Android, long code blocks no longer trap your scrolling, and the keyboard no longer covers the message box. Make it yours Choose an accent color for your send button and your own message bubbles: graphite, slate, blue, green, purple, orange, or the original black and white. Dark mode stays the default, with light mode available too. Every iOS menu now uses a native pull down, and plugin switches reflect what’s actually running on your computer. Android is here 🎉 The roster loads even when Hermes is slow, and screens recover from errors instead of crashing the app. Push notifications are also wired up for both iOS and Android. Three days ago, this was an app I built for myself. Your feedback is helping turn it into something useful for everyone. My Hermes Bots can now hear me I just added voice notes to my unofficial Hermes Bots app Press and hold the mic like WhatsApp or Telegram, speak, release, and it goes straight to the agent No typing Just talk to your Hermes team from your phone. Hermes HUD mode now has a “Pretend I’m working” feature 😂 I type: Pretend I'm working HUD instantly throws a terminal on my screen and starts showing fake code like I’m deep in something important Meanwhile, my actual Hermes agents are doing the real work in the background So if someone walks past my desk... It looks like I’m grinding. Technically, someone is I know this PR will never make it so have fun👇

I’m blown away by how easy this was. I asked Hermes to install Computer Use, control my machine remotely, take a screenshot, and send it back to me. And it just worked. No setup nightmare. No fighting configs. No stealing my cursor. Just my agent using the computer while I’m away.

Hermes HUD mode can now translate movies live while you watch No pausing No copying subtitles No switching apps HUD watches what is on your screen and translates it in real time as the movie plays This is exactly why I love building on HUD mode Hermes does not pull you away from what you are doing It stays on top of it and helps in context Movies today PR link below 👇

Meet Hermes3D A live 3D command center for Hermes Agents Some of you might remember Claw3D It went viral, but it was built around OpenClaw. After moving all my workflows to Hermes, continuing to build it no longer made sense So I rebuilt the entire idea for Hermes Hermes Bot Mode already gives every agent its own role, model, memory, skills, tools, and personality. Hermes3D gives that team an office See which agents are working See who is blocked Inspect their tasks Open the Kanban board Walk up and talk to them And when agents communicate, delegate work, or hand tasks to each other, you will be able to watch it happen inside the office in real time Your AI team should not feel like ten invisible processes hiding inside terminal tabs. Spent 2 hours playing with Unreal 5.8 via MCP. I don’t think people realize what just happened. Unreal is no longer just a game engine. It can now become a workspace for AI agents. I can control the scene. Move objects. Trigger actions. Modify the world externally. Next step: Connect Hermes. Then let an agent start building an entire game from scratch. Levels. Lighting. Characters. Gameplay. Iteration. AI isn’t just writing code anymore. Stay tuned. 👀

Hermes learned my entire repo in minutes. I’m not exaggerating. I pointed the new /learn skill at my codebase… and watched it turn the repo into a reusable skill. Files. Patterns. Architecture. Commands. Workflows. It didn’t just “read” the repo. It created a playbook for how to work with it again later. This blew my mind. Memory remembers facts. Skills remember how to do the work. That’s the difference.
