I am still shook that this thing took over $1mm in ad spend profitably haha DISCLAIMER: THIS WAS REAL UNSCRIPTED AND AUTHENTIC Aaron and Corb called our top customer. She spent +$27,000 on beverages last year. "You basically bought a car worth of drinks. Here's some free product." - Aaron Her response: "Why are you giving me free stuff?" That unscripted call became our best performing ad. Most CEOs hide behind: → Corporate speak → PR teams → Scripted responses The most powerful thing any founder can do: • Email customers in your natural voice • Pick up the phone without a script • Share real moments • Be actually human People aren't stupid. They smell manufactured moments from miles away. That $27,000 customer? She's now spent >$30,000. And brought 12 friends. All from one real phone call.

The amount of brand owners and marketers that have come from this long form has been more than I could have imagined. Mark Mastrandrea rolled up to my home, did a little bit of prep, we sat down and banged almost 2 hours on this. I also left him in my house to meet my mom and he locked up and put it all back. Real G. He wanted to put me in a dungeon with lighting and I'm like brotha, you know I live in a piece of art get your ass down here and lets record. Here's a short snippet below - long form linked underneath

We're already in the best, hardest, funnest, coolest, stressfulest, uncomfortablest, wildest time of the year. For good reasons too - majority of your bag, your brand's bag, your agency's bag - literally a large portion of bags are needed to be made right here to make the year worth anything at all and tbh the year has been flat or slightly up. Which just adds more to the intensity of this major moment. The series on Q4 continues with Wayflyer below
