We're already in the best, hardest, funnest, coolest, stressfulest, uncomfortablest, wildest time of the year. For good reasons too - majority of your bag, your brand's bag, your agency's bag - literally a large portion of bags are needed to be made right here to make the year worth anything at all and tbh the year has been flat or slightly up. The amount of brand owners and marketers that have come from this long form has been more than I could have imagined. Mark Mastrandrea rolled up to my home, did a little bit of prep, we sat down and banged almost 2 hours on this. I also left him in my house to meet my mom and he locked up and put it all back. Was out at an event this week and someone asked like “do you know what pain is.” And I was like. I know A LOT about pain. 267 hours of pain. 9 months of blood and soreness across every inch of me. Before I got married I hit a goal that meant I could do what I want when I want it triggered the next goal which was full body ai robot suit from the same artist (I love you Mike) and I went from 1 tattoo to this 😂 What happened becuase of this I could have never imagined. The stigma around tattoo or self expression of permanency on your body has been changing and changing and I’m witnessing it first hand. Conversations of what does this mean vs why would you do that Comments like, “you know not for me but I appreciate this art.” The amount of time, money, and pain to follow through with this is something I’ll be forever thankful for.
