This video was shared with us by Madison Brincks, showing just how dangerous travel became on Highway 69 south of Belmond, Iowa Thursday afternoon. Madison was stuck on the side of the road for nearly an hour, along with 40–50 other vehicles, all waiting for visibility to improve as whiteout conditions took over. Blowing snow and strong winds made it impossible to see, forcing traffic to come to a complete stop.

This video was shared with us by Madison Brincks, showing just how dangerous travel became on Highway 69 south of Belmond, Iowa Thursday afternoon.
