This video reveals many things, but the most glaring to me is how his mother is just like the majority of non-Muslims. She heard him read the full verse, yet the only thing that stuck with her was what she had been brainwashed with regarding Islam: “kill them all” and “kill them wherever you come upon them.” He had to break it down for her slowly. This is just one verse out of many misinterpreted and propagandized verses. There has been massive and aggressive misinformation about Islam that makes it extremely difficult for non-Muslims to even make sense of what you’re trying to explain to them.
