As a Yemeni citizen, I long to visit the holy city of Karbala like millions of others, but I cannot do so because of the Saudi-American blockade on Yemen. Doesn't the Yemeni people have the right to enjoy their airports, ports, and wealth like the rest of the world's peoples? Why has the world remained silent in the face of Saudi Arabia's crimes against the Yemeni people for 12 years?

As a Yemeni citizen, I long to visit the holy city of Karbala like millions of others, but I cannot do so because of the Saudi-American blockade on Yemen. The late Saudi King Faisal bin Abdulaziz: We pledge to God and to you that we will not interfere in Yemen’s affairs—neither in small matters nor in large ones, nor by favoring one party over another. Instead, we leave to them the freedom to determine their own destiny and to decide upon the system, form of government, or state they desire, entirely of their own volition and without interference from us or anyone else. Should we ever break this pledge or renege on it, let you be the judges who declare us criminals. Therefore, I can say that the Al Saud are criminals.
