Local from Dinga, Pakistan, have claimed that a massive fire broke out on farmland on the night of 8 May, reportedly started by farmers. Shortly afterward, two Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets were observed flying at very low altitude over the area, leading residents to believe that an aircraft may have crashed. According to local accounts, the PAF later stated that the fighter jets were conducting a low-level flight to inspect the wildfire. However, the incident has raised serious questions, as the same area had earlier yielded debris believed to be from an S-400 40N6 missile booster. A local resident quoted a conversation with the Station House Officer (SHO) of Gujrat district, stating: “Nothing to worry about what happened at Dinga last night. I called the SHO Gujrat. Ignore all the videos and TikToks that are circulating about the fire.” Despite these assurances, satellite imagery reportedly shows a large fire signature in the same location. Furthermore, Pakistani police were seen cordoning off the area — with photographic and video evidence available — adding to suspicions surrounding the incident. Key unanswered questions remain: Why were PAF fighter jets deployed at low altitude over a civilian farmland fire? Why was the area sealed off by police if it was merely a routine wildfire? Why was debris from an S-400 40N6 missile booster found in the same location? Was this a standard Search and Rescue (SAR) protocol operation? Is the PAF attempting to conceal the loss of an aircraft? The coincidence of a major fire, restricted access, military air activity, and missile debris in the same area suggests that the incident may be far more serious than officially acknowledged.
