A king in Igbo land, Edem Ani of Nsukka, built a food bank in his palace where people in his community can come and eat free meals every day. This was one of the highlights of our tour of Igbo land. ❤️ We witnessed so many people from Edem Ani coming into the palace to enjoy delicious meals. The king told us he has been doing this every day for years. He built the food bank as his own way of contributing to the wellbeing of his people. Anyone who is hungry can walk into the palace and eat. Nobody in his community should ever go hungry as long as he is king. Igbo people are the best, makachi! 🙏🏽
