,,There are no shortcuts. The difference between Europe and the U.S., and the reason I prefer the NBA and NCAA systems to the European system, is that you are rewarded for your work. You don't have to sit in cafés and be close with certain people in order to get a job. Later on, you also have to maintain those connections in cafés so that you don't get fired, and so on. That doesn't exist in the U.S. There is work, daily proving yourself, and progressive work. You can't just show up and become a head coach after a year. There is a path to advancement and a system for how you move up. In the long run, there is a chance to get a big opportunity." Darko Rajakovic

I’m usually not a fan of “projecting” U16 players’ potential, because I think they’re still too young to accurately judge how high their ceiling really is. But Luka Leni Ukić, the son of Roko Leni Ukić, is really impressive. 📝 Through his first two games at the FIBA U16 EuroBasket Division B, he’s averaging: 24.5 PPG 4.0 RPG 5.5 APG 3.5 SPG +43.5 plus/minus 24.5 EFF Shooting splits: 59.1% 2PT 50.0% 3PT
