This is a scene from the Pakistani movie Ghareebon Ka Badshah (1990) where Sultan Rahi, playing a Sikh, dramatically chops off his hair to convert to Islam. This is how they’ve portrayed Sikhs, as people needing “saving” through conversion. Yet many Sikhs in Indian Punjab still call them “brothers” and keep promoting aman & bhaichara.
