I don’t know why everyone loves to pick on Onisese, are we too calm? Do we need to be aggressive? This is too much of a disrespect! These are thought running through my mind while watching this video. Ozain denigrate a very important part of Yoruba culture and a sacred tradition hold dear by Onisese. Eewo yio gbeja arare.

I don't think there is any part of Yoruba tradition that Mike Bamiloye did not demonize. He is one of the main religious weapons fashioned against the spirituality of his ancestors while elevating that of his enslavers. The same ancestors of yours who discovered and invented great artifacts which science couldn't even explain till date. The same ancestors that were very civilised and evolving at their own pace before the white man came here to disrupt our civilisation. The same ancestors who discovered herbs and roots that you use in curing your illnesses. The same ancestors who manufactured farming tools and the traditional clothes you love to wear to your parties. The same ancestors who manufactured foot wears, The same ancestors who discovered and manufactured musical instruments? The same ancestors who manufactured War weapons? The same ancestors who had their system of governances which the governed their people. The same ancestors that developed the lovely food that we eat till today. They did many more and you believe they are Wise in other aspect of life except their view of the supreme being. RESPONSE TO ATTEMPTED DISTORTION OF HISTORICAL FACTS ON IFÁ AND ÒRÌṢÀ In an interview, a Nollywood actor, Peter Fatomilola among other things said the following :- 1. I am a real Babaláwo not fake 2. I am Olórí Awo of Ìfíṣe Èkìtì 3. I don't have Èṣù in front of my house 4. There is nothing like Èṣù 5. Èṣù is human being 6. Can Èṣù Ìlàrẹ̀ Ilé Ifẹ̀ talk? 7. What did it do when it was stolen? 8. Òrìṣà who has mouth and can't talk 9. Why would I give a rooster to a so called Òrìṣà and allow my house to be smelling? 10. Ifá is not Òrìṣà but is a knowledge like Bible knowledge and Koran knowledge. As a Babaláwo, Aṣojú Awo Àgbáyé Ilé Ifẹ̀, Trustee of International Council for Ifa Religion among others and Àràbà of Òwòròǹṣòkí land Lagos Nigeria, it is my duty to respond to him. I am disappointed in his utterances. He is a man I respect for his role in Nollywood movies and we have taken pictures together at events. I had to respond so that our children will not be quoting distorted facts about our cherished Yoruba heritage, Ìṣẹ̀ṣe. If he attends to clients as claimed, does he advise sacrifice/offerings/rituals? If yes, where do the offerings go? As Olórí Awo of his town, he does not believe in Òrìṣà. What kind of Spiritual head are you? Should we be educating an elder like "Olorì Awo of Ìfíṣe Èkìtì", Oloye Peter Fatomilola like other ignorants that ÈṢÙ IS NOT SATAN?
