A brotherly reaction on our great President #Museveni’s dismissive message. Yes Excellency, as a respected leader, I was not expecting you taking a dismissive tone toward your young Brother #Djibouti's MoFA( Minister of Foreign Affairs). Dear Excellency President, I’m not offended by an elder calling his youngster « Young Man » privately. But as per our #African’s values, visitors and guests have very special respect. Therefore, the minimum expected from an African elder and leader was calling publicly your visitor/guest by his Name: « Mr Mahamoud Youssouf Ali » or simply «The Minister/candidate from Djibouti ». More importantly, you know him well since 2 Decades as Djibouti’s MoFA. Dear Excellency, While being fully aware of your decision to endorse Hon Raila Odinga of #Kenya, Minister Mahamoud considered very important to pay you courtesy visit, as well as to all Heads of state/Gov of the region. Indeed, As a son of the Horn of Africa/East Africa, He therefore decided to communicate with you in person, his candidacy as well as his vision for Africa. The same visit was made to #Kenya Leadership too. He Also expressed his readiness (once elected) to serve you and work closely with you and with all the leaders in our region and in our continent (including those who would not vote for him). Dear Elder President Museveni, for the purpose of refreshing, may I take the liberty in presenting you again our next #AU #Commission’s LEADER? Yes! The most Brilliant «Youngest Candidate » and « Most Fitted for the Job ». Drop your arrogance and stop lecturing #Africans. Democracy isn’t your monopoly, and you’re in no position to lecture anyone. We, from #Djibouti, don’t need your old playbook. keep the condescension and mind your own home. No money here for lobbying contract, so save the performance.

- Mon Bonheur de ce jeudi provenait de ces visages et sourires brillants de ces enfants de Balbala Cheick Moussa/Fukuzawa. - Ce bonheur était lié à ce plaisir indescriptible et à la noblesse de servir son prochain par le savoir/lecture dans un quartier populaire. - Ce jeudi était également différent, en raison de cette rencontre fortuite d’une œuvre associative portée par des compatriotes dédiés à l’inclusion du savoir. Hommes & Femmes, jeunes et moins jeunes, cadres, enseignants qui ont décidé de servir bénévolement à travers « l’Association Amis du Livre ». - Aussi, J’ai rencontré des Parents très heureux d’avoir une telle opportunité de loisirs utiles pour leurs enfants. Une Bibliothèque communautaire. - Enfin, Des Contributeurs/Bienfaiteurs djiboutiens, heureux de voir un projet pionnier et apprécié par tous. Oui, j’ai également apporté ma petite contribution symbolique. D’où mon bonheur et ce petit plaisir personnel. Vous pouvez y contribuer également en devenant membre bienfaiteur, ou offrir 1 livre, ou offrir 1 heure de bénévolat, ou encourager son entourage afin de dupliquer la même initiative ailleurs/régions intérieures par exemple … ou tout simplement en félicitant l’Association. 👏🇩🇯
