Smashing the patriarchy? Great! But let’s make it real. True empowerment is when you stand up against all oppressive norms, including extreme religious restrictions, radical personal laws, and forced modesty. Selective feminism isn't revolution, it's just convenience.

At a debate hosted by the Oxford Union, author and public intellectual Gurcharan Das shared a critical perspective on Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi’s presence in politics is not driven by any clear vision, but appears to be a burden carried through Sonia Gandhi’s influence and family legacy. Surrounded by indecision and detachment, he lacks the decisiveness expected of a strong leader. Legacy can pass on responsibility, but it cannot pass on the qualities needed to be a strong leader.
