Last year, when I wanted to record this video during baba awujale burial attended by President Tinubu, a security officer warned me to put my phone away or he would break it. Nobody was allowed to record. I managed to take one video, but when he noticed me again, he grabbed my phone. Thankfully, the Governor of Kwara intervened and told them to leave me alone. That experience made me understand the level of security around a president. Getting close to the leader of a nation is not something you do casually. So when my friend said that if he ever got the opportunity to get close to President Tinubu, he would “do something,” I laughed. My brother, if you can’t easily get close to officials at your local government headquarters, how do you expect to get anywhere near the President? Reality is very different from what people imagine.
