A Tale of Two Cities // When I went to document the ICE protests in DTLA, I asked my sister to document what other parts of LA looked like at the same time. All of these clips you see are from June 8th, 2025. I included a farmers market I walked by just a few blocks from the protest and an ice cream truck in another part of DTLA to emphasize the point. The media wants to tell you that all of Los Angeles is a war zone. That’s just not true. Don’t fall for it. This protest started from a place of protection. We love our neighbors. We love Los Angeles.

“Subway Surfer” // I’ve long been obsessed with public displays of art and creating in ways I’m not supposed to. This shoot got us kicked out of 3 stations before we were able to get the shot off quickly enough. This photo is about escape. So many of us spend our days behind desks and staring at screens. We worry about numbers and margins while we dream of escape. In reality, getting away isn’t always an option so we do our best. We work so we can chase life in those precious moments in between. In this image I wanted to tell a story of a woman escaping the boardroom for a board meeting of another kind, doing anything to get out of the city and into the waves (in style, of course). Coming Wednesday to SuperRare 🌊

“Window Shopping” // This image was born from bad luck and a little creativity. The other night, I parked my car on a street in Downtown Los Angeles to visit a friend. A few hours later I came out to discover my window had been smashed and a backpack stolen. Thankfully, the backpack is probably the funniest thing they could have picked. It was full of playboy bunny outfits and tights so I hope they’re enjoying that. Regardless, having your property smashed and stolen is truly a violating experience. But rather than get upset about it, my mind saw that shattered window and immediately saw an opportunity for a piece of art to be created. I wanted to reimagine the scene of the crime with a model thief during her night out on the town. She goes from car to car on a destructive window shopping spree pulling bags from luxury brands at every stop. This is my attempt at finding beauty in the broken and creation in destruction. Limited edition prints of “Window Shopping” are available. Please DM me for details.
