Phase 1 Complete The buggy isn't intelligent yet but successfully avoids obstacles to move on its own for a preset amount of time using the ultrasonic sensor In the video you can clearly see that it avoids colliding with furniture, moves back and figures out a collision free path Controlled by the jetson fully taking inputs from ultrasonic sensor and driving the motors Here on out I'll post more regular updates even if less significant Next phase involves: incorporating bluetooth connecting buggy to my phone incorporating camera training a small YOLOV8 model on myself and deploying it on the jetson orin nano Using this setup the so the buggy can seek me long range via BT, come to me avoiding obstacles, once close it willl detect me and follow me around at a safe distance
