The brief was specific: inspect the whole workbook, rebuild totals I can keep using, compare them to the TOTAL cell, flag duplicates / blanks / dates outside the window / spelling and format mess, point every important number back to a cell, mark UNVERIFIED items, invent nothing, and don’t quietly fix conflicts. It didn’t answer in one bubble. It opened the file, split the job, and the task board stayed on screen. Halfway through I changed the ask in the same task: keep what you’ve done, don’t restart, add a 7-day fix list from the gaps you already found, That was the test. A chatbot starts over, This kept the work that still held. What it delivered It handed back a Markdown report, a one page PDF, and an Excel with a Flags sheet. The report listed every row, compared the sheet TOTAL of 600 to a recount of the amounts, and kept my original lines instead of overwriting the journal. After I added the 7nday list, it did not wipe the first report. It appended the action list to the same pack.
