Yesterday, I went to my favourite wetland. The sun was dipping and I sat at the side of puddle. There were lot of waders , terns and plovers. Suddenly this Black Kite came and watching it drinking water was a bliss moment. If you Like comment or share. Cheers

Arctic Tern —Arctic Tern which is spotted after 96 years in India. — Earlier published record is from Ladakh from 1927 — Credit of the sighting goes to Mumbai Birders — Arctic tern got all Indian birders crazy that they travel to Mumbai to see that. — Arctic tern is known to travel 40000 kms in its migration in an year — I am grateful to mumbai birders and almighty I was able to travel from Delhi to see the bird. — I got to met lot of my friends and new birders at Mumbai. — In last 11 years of birding I haven’t done any birding in Mumbai. This year Mumbai has given me 7 pelagic lifers —My lifers ——Arctic Tern ——-Masked Booby ———White Cheeked Tern ———-Bridled Tern ————Saunders Tern ————-Wilson’s Storm Petral —————Lesser Noddy Do check the thread.

A photographer was encouraged by his group to flush out the Eagle Owl for a flying shot and succeeded in his endeavour. So embarrassing to see Indian Eagle owl being harassed in Bhondsi Nature Park in Gurgaon. Every time we have sighting of owl in Delhi NCR some people make sure to make there life hell.
