Seeing the discourse about Suselle and Noelle in general confuses me. Like don't get me wrong, I love Kriselle, the angst and the what ifs. But you cannot look at the normal route ending of Ch5 and tell me Noelle is happier in the weird route. Being held by Susie on the lake, she stops to listen to Susie's heart, a genuine feeling of peace over years of anxiety and depression. Susie can startle Noelle by pretending to trip in the water, and Noelle just laughs and blushes, acting as if she hasn't had this much fun in so long. This is genuine love so well written, not forced in the slightest, they've had YEARS to build this relationship and all the awkward stammers, the uncertainty of what to say to each other in the moment, I can't help but have the biggest smile watching this.
