Scheme brewing in the X #Kuki_Zo space? Ardent supporter Vishwajit Singh Vishwajeet Singh, apparently a lawyer, talks about starting a water conflict. He says (sic), 'If they are in a position to deny us electricity, we are in a position to deny them water resources. We should also start a campaign that we will not share the water resources with the valley. If the valley really needs access to the water coming from the hills, then we need to have a water-sharing agreement. If they can stop the electricity, we can stop the water by doing whatever is required. It is easy to stop the water in the mountains and disrupt the water supply. That can be done by the people. This should immediately come up as the next proposal by tomorrow.. We need a water-sharing agreement with the Imphal valley as there is a defacto separation. .. #Meiteis don't know anything apart from their pukhris (ponds)." Appears that #Kuki militants are escalating violence with a powerful rocket attack in Tranglaobi, Bishnupur district of #Manipur. The blast destroyed a toilet, & another projectile reportedly travelled over 60 metres. Thankfully, no human casualties.
