This demo is how I started retrocoding in 2024, and I'm still proud of all the hand-optimized m68k assembly I created. This is a VoxelSpace implementation running on a stock 8MHz 68000, 1MB RAM, 16 color Atari STe. I hope Kyle Freeman approves :)

In my Atari ST video codec, the decoder maintains a codebook of small tiles out of which the video frames are composed. A certain number of tiles, here 32, are updated every frame, replacing less useful ones. This approach allows for high performance and decent compression.
