Elsewhere, OGC Nice were beaten 3-0 away to Paris FC, while FC Lausanne-Sport lost 3-2 to FC Zürich. Coming up this week, the Vuelta a Espana continues with the cycling team also taking on the Tour of Britain, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team heads to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix, OGC Nice take on Le Mans, Manchester United face Everton, Manchester United Women play London City Lionesses, and FC Lausanne-Sport take on Thun before travelling to face FC Vaduz.

Netcompany INEOS Cycling Team also continued their strong Vuelta a España campaign, holding third place in the overall team standings. OGC Nice earned a valuable point with a 0-0 draw against Lorient. Manchester United Premier League season got off to a deflating start, with a 2-0 defeat at Hull City. And FC Lausanne-Sport were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Luzern. Looking ahead, the Vuelta a España continues this week as Netcompany INEOS aim to build on their promising start. OGC Nice travel to Paris FC on 30 August, Manchester United host Ipswich Town on 30 August, and FC Lausanne-Sport welcome FC Zürich on 29 August, with all three clubs looking to return to winning ways.
