Loudspeakers announce that when the green light turns on, people have just 10 minutes to grab between 300 to 400 aid packages—though much of the critical supplies, like flour, sugar, and salt, are snatched up first by gangs and collaborators. After the 10-minute window, the light turns yellow, signaling that only 5 minutes remain to flee before automatic machine guns open fire indiscriminately on anyone still in the area” He described the distribution zones as barren open spaces surrounded by high mounds of sand. I met Omar Eid in Qalqilya, in the West Bank, while filming a story for the Austraian TV about settler attacks. He wanted to read poem for us, and I told him I’d make him famous. Please listen to Omar’s poem, and help make him known. And the poem says: All your armies, All your fighters, All your tanks, All your soldiers, Against a boy Holding stones, Standing there all alone. In his eyes, I see the sun; In his smile, I see the moon. And I wondered, I only wondered , who’s weak, who’s strong, Who’s right and who’s wrong. And I wish, I truly wish, that the truth only has a tongue.

Fidaa Salameh, from Jenin Camp, was arrested two days ago by the Israeli occupation forces along with several of his friends. They were held inside a military barracks in the camp, where they endured a full day of abuse and humiliation, and were beaten after being stripped of their clothes — a scene that exposes the brutality of the occupation and its ongoing violations against the camp’s residents.
