📽️ Can NVIDIA help solve aging? That question became Rentosertib. Not starting from a disease. Starting from aging biology. PandaOmics identified TNIK as a target connecting aging and fibrosis. Generative chemistry designed the molecule. Target to preclinical candidate in 18 months. Phase 1, Phase 2A, now Phase 3. And this month, published in Nature Biotechnology, we asked a new question: is Rentosertib slowing aging itself? We applied six independently developed proteomic aging clocks to Phase 2A trial data. Six clocks from multiple independent groups, sharing neither features nor training data. All six agreed. Treated patients saw predicted biological age go down by up to six years. Placebo did not. This study is early and we say so plainly. But the template is clear. Find a target in aging biology. Purpose it toward a disease. Demonstrate it works. Then measure aging. Rentosertib cannot yet be called a proven human longevity drug. But it may mark the beginning of a new era. From treating diseases of aging to actively intervening in aging itself. Many of their binding pockets are remarkably similar, so a molecule designed for one kinase may also hit others.
