The top video is snapshot 25wO2a. The bottom video is 1.21.4. Holding W and A or W and D now makes you move forward slower than if you were only holding W. Strafing in PvP is dead.

In the 26.3 update, Minecraft silently introduced a new entity interpolation rehaul that makes player movement appear EXTREMELY choppy. As a result, melee PvP now feels awful... Credit to Minemen Club for discovering this!

Thought that was all? We've significantly decreased shield delay on Modern MMC, making shields register up to three times faster for higher ping players. We're changing the PvP community forever.

1.7 PvP on 1.21.4. With Lunar Client, you can now disable the 1.8 miss penalty on 1.21.4. You can do this by changing your branch to "modern-miss-penalty". Animatium also has this feature now as well. It's time to update

We fixed crystals completely. No longer ping based, any player can crystal at the exact same speed, regardless of their ping. No mods required. Experience this and other game changing optimizations on Modern MMC, the best PvP server on the latest version.
