Indian PM Narendra Modi cut short his trip in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to convene an emergency security meeting with top military officials. Hours later, Pakistani locals reported intense Indian artillery fire along the Line of Control (LoC). The "Resistance Front," a splinter group of the Pakistani terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, reportedly claimed responsibility. Local Pakistani news reported ongoing artillery barrages as of an hour ago.
