Adrien Petit announces the end of his magnificent career: 15 years of loyalty and courage ❤️ “On 7 October 2025 in Binche-Chimay-Binche, I leave the professional peloton with a smile and without regrets. I take pride that I could perform while enjoying my personal life. Cycling has evolved enormously, with increasing attention to detail and ever more risk-taking. I feel ready to make room for young people who are ready to give 100% to this life. My podiums at the U23 World Championship in Copenhagen and the France Championships, as well as my first Top 10 in Paris-Roubaix, will remain my highlights. With Intermarché-Wanty, I found a family atmosphere that pushed me without pressure, and I am very proud of my sixth place in Paris-Roubaix. That day, I really felt like I could do something great. I loved supporting Alexander Kristoff and watching Biniam Girmay emerge. My best memory remains Gand-Wevelgem, where I positioned Bini at the foot of Mount Kemmel to help him on his way to victory. Binche-Chimay-Binche will be my last race, an ideal place to end my career. It’s an event close to my heart, in the heart of Intermarché-Wanty. I thank the three teams that helped me to live this dream, everyone I met and of course my family. Without them I never would have made it to this level. Cycling has brought me so much that I hope to stay there, but for now, I want to enjoy with my family. »
