On July 27th 2026, I made 30yrs of practicing journalism. Looking back, I’ve come to terms with the sweet fact that most of those stories I didn’t write are the ones that made serious impact. As we grow old in this trade, we tend to become more of mediators and counselors than reporters. Not easy to understand but it’s a fact✍🏾✍🏾 #SimanyiObaNtegeerekeka🤔

Thank you so much my Mayor Eng. Balimwezo Ronald Nsubuga , I agree with you in entirety. However, as you’re aware, such directives never celebrate their first anniversary. I’m humbly requesting that you proceed with your City Plans as you have explained. Let’s have a Kampala plan (Your plan), for it’s far different from the countrywide one. I and my likes are behind you. As for our brethren the SDAs, let them be exonerated until we have a shift in the day. BannaU baagala nnyo Public Holidays (Poor them). Maybe we, in future, should look at Friday because Juma prayers start after 11am. #SimanyiObaNtegeerekeka🤔

Now that court and police have taken over the cases before us, I wish to drag your attention to Nothern Bypass and the would-be beauty surrounding it. Kindly ban biveera from Uganda. National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) is useless in a country where biveera companies are licensed to kill nature ✍🏾

Mityana-Mubende Road Reconstruction Facts: Fact 1- The contract covers 100kms (Mityana-Mubende - 86kms and Mityana town - 14Kms)✍🏾 Fact 2- Each Kilometer was to cost UGX3.9Bn (USD1M)✍🏾 Fact 3- According to Gen KATUMBA WAMALA, the contractor was paid to zero balance✍🏾 Fact 4- Less than 35kms have been partially done✍🏾 Fact 5- The contract under which most of the money was paid, expired way back in January 2024…. So sad this! In our show tonight, Garcia talked about Gen. Kyaligonza’s stint in Burundi. Then David Waluluka Josiah Jako mentioned about his son Banura being the Chairman of Kikuube District. Little we knew that by the time the show will be released, the Chairman would be dead!!! Our condolences to Gen. Kyaligonza family! RIEP Peter.
