We’re not here to convince anyone that doing this was "normal," that’s something each person can judge for themselves based on their own values and experiences. The point is that the situation was severely misconstrued. The sleepovers weren’t sinister, people of all ages participated, and the term "unrelated" implies they were random strangers, when in reality they were close family friends and his actual relatives. Nothing happened beyond sleeping, the rooms were accessible to everyone at all times, Michael never asked anyone to sleep in his room, and there is important context explaining why *Michael* viewed it as normal.
