Yesterday UK House of Commons debated an anti-slavery amendment to the Industry and Exports Bill, tabled by Iain Duncan Smith MP Chingford & Woodford Green which would have prevented UK Export Finance supporting companies like AVIC and China Southern (see 📹👇) The amendment was resisted by GOV.UK and defeated 272:161
