Isaac French

We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our third son, Benjamin Wesley French. He was born the evening of our country’s 250th birthday, here in Chihuahua, Mexico - where we’re living for three months to serve our church on the mission field. We think he chose to come six days early to make sure we knew his correct citizenship. 😊🇺🇸 (actually holds dual citizenship). Helen’s mom delivered Benjamin in our little home down here. She’s an incredible midwife (and grandma!). Lucas & Ezra are already deep in love with Benjamin, though Ezra especially has to be restrained a bit, for fear that his affection becomes dangerous. I can’t wait to see all three of them one day soon, dressed in matching overalls and boots, just like my older brothers and I were when we were kids. Benjamin means “son of my strength”. Wesley means “from the west field” - in honor of the Wesley brothers, English preachers and authors who helped change the course of Europe and the rest of the world. “Catch yourself on fire with passion, and people will come from miles to watch you burn” -John Wesley
