🕊️August 15 marks Japan’s WWII unconditional surrender. I never lived through the war, but Japan’s recent military shifts have been on my mind.🇯🇵 A new national intelligence agency, “Japan Navy” references in international exchanges, cruise missile tests, and open debate over its decades-old nuclear policy taboos. I don’t think history will repeat overnight, but political lines shift slowly in quiet, small steps. Those postwar guardrails were built on lessons we cannot afford to forget – and that’s why these quiet changes deserve our attention.

I finally understand why #Xizang is one of the most misunderstood places in the world. This is probably the least photogenic place I visited in Xizang. No snow mountains. No yaks. No postcard views. Just a museum full of uncomfortable questions. Ironically, it helped me understand today’s Xizang better than any scenic spot ever could.

Stinky Mandarin Fish + Hairy Tofu = Pizza ? 😂 This video's a bit long, but trust me — it'll totally change how you think about pizza! 🍕 In Huangshan, I followed 🇺🇸American guy Adrien to make his original "Double Hui Pizza". It mixes Anhui's two iconic specialties: stinky mandarin fish and hairy tofu. Adrien also talked about his journey: moving to 🇨🇳China, opening a pizzeria, and becoming a Huangshan son-in-law. He hopes food can be a fun bridge, bringing people from different places together.

Vucic’s visit to China reminded me of my time in Belgrade in 2024. One thing I kept noticing in Serbia: little traces of China in the most unexpected places. A Serbian grandfather playing the Chinese national anthem in the park. A local perfumer creating his imagined “China” scent. Chinese-themed stamps called “Friends who come from afar” (有朋自远方来). Thousands of miles from home, and somehow there it was 🇨🇳🇷🇸
