உயிரே—A phenomenal find by Kamal Haasan! Music director Mahesh was pure genius—this track and its mesmerizing charanams prove it. Gone too soon, Tamil cinema truly missed out on such a rare talent. #TamilMelodies

புன்னகையில் மின்சாரம்.- Even though Raaja sir's experimental singing of this western song and Prabhu Deva's exquisite Chreography was well-received, few paid attention to the fantastic camerawork and 180 editing cuts that greatly surpassed the dancers. 😍

In less than two minutes, this song conveys the entire plot and story of the film. The genius of #KamalHaasan𓃵 .😊

One of the best things that happened in the late 90s was #ARRahman's collaboration with Shankar. Thanks to Rahman’s exploration of global music styles and Shankar's ambition of incorporating world-class VFX, each song was a visual feast. #HBDARRahman

THIS prelude should be studied by music students for years to come to see how Ilaiyaraaja employed the soulful violin section in a modest love duet song. 🥰

This song isn't simply a good old wine; it's a cellar-worthy wine that will last for generations.🥰

கொக்கரக்கோ கோழி - This song has some of the best percussion and folk-dance music with a western touch. But it was Kamalhassan's voice that made the songs great. This song had a big impact on the Akkadannu song. This song should have gotten more attention than it does now. 😍

ராசாவே உன்னை நான் எண்ணித்தான்—A few questions were raised about this song's raga. Here is a video where #Ilaiyaraaja sir explains the raag Maand in a beautiful way with this song's tune. So delightful.🥹

I found this song called Vey Vey from the film Oka Radha Iddaru Krishnulu, and the electro-funk composition by #Ilaiyaraaja is incredible. However, #Kamalhassan's high-pitched voice elevated this song. But I am a little surprised that Raja sir used SPB in the Tamil version.

Malaysia Vasudevan’s raw and open-throated voice perfectly matched Rajinikanth’s rugged tone & charismatic style. This song, their first collab and a massive hit, proved he was the ultimate vocal match for the Superstar! #HBDMalaysiaVasudevan
