seunghan said his vocals improved a lot after joining SM bc at his old company, he spent most of his time practicing dance. 🍀: when i was at my previous company, i remember spending so much time practicing dance. there were also a lot of times when it gave me a headache, and i remember struggling a lot. 🍀: but after i came to SM, i started spending more time singing than i did practicing dance. so i think that’s helped me improve my singing quite a bit, and i’ve gotten much better at it. this clip reminded me of what Xiumin once told to SM trainees “singing is the most important. if you can’t sing well, no matter how good you are at dancing, you won’t look talented.”

seunghan said being an SM Public Trainee ≠ a guaranteed debut. you guys… the thing we’ve always worried about while stanning trainees was something they were actually worried about too 😭💔 🍀: that’s right. not everyone who was introduced as a Rookie ended up debuting, so i think that made me really confused as well. 🍀: i was introduced as an SM public trainee, but my debut still wasn’t confirmed. 🍀: then i kept wondering, “why are they making us public if that’s the case?” “are they going to decide not to let us debut if the reaction isn’t good?” i worried about that a lot back then.

nicholas said it was really hard to tell the others about his decision. when the boys gathered in the practice room, he couldn’t speak at all… he also said that if he chose to debut as an idol and then step out later, it would cause too much trouble, so he decided to tell them at that time… nicholas also didn’t expect the boys reaction when he told them to be positive, even though he thought they would criticize his decision nicholas 😭💔
