BRADLEY DESERVED BETTER. 😡😭 After spending $1,500 on training, his family still gave up on him. The wife wanted him gone, she said they “couldn’t deal with him anymore.”They called him “too unpredictable.” But Bradley is only one year old! he’s a baby🥺 What the volunteers saw was a quiet, calm, gentle soul, not chaotic, not aggressive. Just a sweet boy who stayed close to people, softly asking for love. His kennel was filthy. The volunteer and another helper cleaned it. They bathed him, cleaned his paws and tail and he visibly relaxed, like he finally felt cared for 😭 Bradley has lived with kids and other dogs. Shelter granted us last extension they already extended her one week and she has been there for almost 3 months. 💕Pupdate💕 Stacy Hope Rescue Max is 8 years old… and the first thing he did when he stepped out of the shelter was gently hold his foster’s hand. When we rescued him, Max wasn’t well. After Xrays & full senior bloodwork, the vet confirmed pneumonia, and his body is now fighting hard to recover. He’s on antibiotics and will need time to heal. His skin is also in rough shape, likely connected to a thyroid condition, signs that his body has been struggling for a long time❤️🩹 But It’s amazing what a soft bed, good food, fresh air and love can do. Max curled up on his blanket surrounded by toys like a child who finally feels safe. He gathers plush toys ALL AT ONCE in his mouth, plays fetch with anything he can find, and wags his tail a little more every day 🥹 he’s still a baby at heart. Sometimes he pauses while eating…because he doesn’t want to miss a single second of love or belly rubs from his angel foster mom Victoria 🙏🏼🥲 And the sweetest thing of all… When she pets him, Max gently holds her hand, as if he’s asking not to leave🥺 Despite everything he has been through, his heart is nothing but love. Max absolutely adores children, welcoming every little hand with patience and kindness. Some dogs break after everything they’ve been through. Max didn’t. He just keeps loving. Today, a kind volunteer walked Bradley and he got a taste of heaven, grass beneath his paws, the sun on his back, a human hand reminding him what love feels like 🥺 And yet… he was led back to the same four walls.😭💔 Bradley is still smiling… even as the kennel door closes behind him😭😭😭 My heart can’t take it 💔 Since July 31st, this majestic, absolutely wonderful 8 yrs old #GermanShepherd has been overlooked, left to sleep on cold concrete, surrounded by stressful noise. 🚨Now we can change that !!! When we pulled Weston, we discovered a hole in his mouth and cheek. He had been bleeding in his kennel, a terrified dog handled with force when what he needed most was patience. Kevin Kevin McDonald our volunteer was the first person to show Weston kindness. The first gentle voice. The first calm hand. The first moment where the world didn’t feel so frightening. Kevin gave Weston his freedom ride — the moment his life finally began to turn ✨ And then Dani denby opened her home. For the past week Weston has been quietly decompressing with our incredible foster, Dani, patient, loving, and giving him exactly what his broken heart needed: time, softness, and safety. No loud kennels, No pressure. Just compassion. At first Weston watched everything carefully, like a dog who had learned the hard way that the world can hurt.
