Here in Minneapolis, we are united. We will always stand up for our neighbors, no matter who they are, where they come from, what they worship, or who they love.

Reposting as a reminder of how awesome Minneapolis is as JD Vance visits again. And to everyone around the country, we would love to have you!

My fellow mayors and I are asking the Minnesota Legislature to give cities the power to act on gun reform. If a divided Legislature can’t — or won’t — get it done, then they should let cities lead.

Thoughts and prayers are appreciated. But they are not enough. It's important to talk about doing the right thing, but more importantly, we have to act.

In Minneapolis, no matter who you love, what you look like, or where you're from, you have a home here. Right now, the Trump administration is coming after the values that define Minneapolis. We’re pushing back. I’ve signed executive orders to protect our city from federal overreach, and we’re taking the fight to court to defend our neighbors.

Minneapolis is stepping up to help our neighbors who don't know how they're going to feed their families if SNAP benefits are blocked or cut. I'm directing $150k to local food shelves to help families get by. Minneapolis is at its best when we take care of each other.

In America, you rise based on your own merit - you fall based on your own flaws. Individuals should be held accountable for their own decisions - not a whole community.

I always bet on Minneapolis. Together, we may get knocked down seven times, but we get back up eight. That spirit is alive at Spirit and Truth Worship Center, where I had the chance to speak today. Thank you, Pastor Stephanie Bond. It was an honor to join your service this morning.

Election day is practically here, but the job isn't done yet. I need you to vote, spread the word to your friends and family, and come volunteer with us tomorrow if you can. Let's win this thing, Minneapolis! Find your polling location here:

I'm honored to be closing out this campaign with such kind words from a good friend. Thank you, Tim Walz. Minneapolis — let's go win this thing!

Here in Minneapolis, we responded to the housing shortage that drove up rents and priced out working families in cities across the country by building record amounts of housing, especially deeply affordable housing. And guess what? It's working.

Minneapolis is a city of grit, tenacity, and hope. We’ve been tested. We’ve been knocked down. But we never fail to get back up. Because this city is worth fighting for.
