Rottweilers are extremely gentle and loving dogs - excellent family companions. However any animal or dog, irrespective of “breed” can turn vicious and ferocious if brought up in an environment of cruelty. While I am deeply disappointed to hear of a State Government moving to ban these beautiful animals - but I also understand their concerns. When people with the wrong intentions treat these powerful creatures like toys - tragedies occur. Handling and raising powerful breeds requires enormous patience and experience.
