“Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” was written by Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, and Dallas Davidson while they were hanging out at Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon—inspired by someone they saw on the dance floor. They’ve said they wrote it in about an hour, spending much of that time laughing. Trace Adkins later recorded it for Songs About Me, and it became a crossover hit, reaching No. 2 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs. Full Video:
