Speaking in loyal Portadown tonight. As we stand now, there is a stand off. On one side there is Jon Boucher and the PSNI, and on the other there is Sinn Fein, the IRA and their dissident friends. The question is simple: will the law, or the mob win? They have made a wee boy out of the Chief Constable thus far, and if the PSNI ultimately surrender then the consequences for law and order, and unionist/loyalist support for policing will be untold. Never again will the PSNI be able to look our community in the eye. And as for Michelle O’Neill, the border cat is on the run skipping over the border to Dublin. When she returns, she should be put in the back of a handover, taken to Antrim serious crime suite and treated like the criminal she is. Unionists/loyalists, my message to you is very clear: we must remain peaceful and lawful. This is not our problem; it is Jon Boucher’s problem. We used the law, and we won. We expect the PSNI to uphold the law. Get on with it.

They ought to know: Firstly, none of it is going to have any impact. You won’t bully any of us into silence. Secondly; all those participating are inevitably going to end up convicted (most speedily those who are so smart they use their own numbers). But thirdly, and most importantly, I’ve set my ringtone to the Sash. So know this: every single time you pick up the phone to try and ring me, all you are actually achieving is ensuring the Sash is getting another rendition!

It doesn’t include the text messages, WhatsApps and voicemails, all abusive & many threatening. What is extraordinary is how many people are so stupid to use their own numbers. Today the Court of Appeal asked the lawbreakers whether they would even abide by any decision of the court: no answer forthcoming. SF have been clear, they only abide by the law when it suits them. This is an important time. We must stand up for the rule of law & building a rights based society, with the core principles of equal rights for all, tolerance & pluralism. It is understandable that after 30 years of supremacism, that some in nationalism have found it hard to come to terms with the recognition of basic human rights for those they hate, but the Portadown District approaches this issue in a spirit of goodwill and respect to their neighbours. Their parade will be lawful, peaceful and dignified.
