New John Mearsheimer lecture on tactical nuclear weapons just dropped -- fascinating stuff. transcript from Grok Bot: "So it's just very important to understand that tactical nuclear weapons were seen for much of the 1950s as a magic weapon. Now, what happened to throw cold water on this whole line of thinking was a war game that was run in mid-June 1955. This is called Carte Blanche, and we had the situation where the Soviets would attack with conventional forces. We would use nuclear weapons, tactical nuclear weapons in response. And of course, the Soviets would use nuclear weapons of their own. Now, what happened in this war game, basically about 3,000 NATO aircraft from 11 different countries were employed in the war game. And about, I'd say, 335 nuclear weapons were employed. The usual range is 335 to 355. That's how many tactical nuclear weapons were employed in this war game. And by the way, the Russians, of course, employed nuclear weapons as well as the NATO forces in this war game. And in fact, the Russians or the Soviets ended up using or deploying or exploding more nuclear weapons, slightly more nuclear weapons than NATO did. But let's say the total was about 335 nuclear weapons. And the war was fought almost exclusively on West German soil. Now, what was the end result? The end result is that 1.7 million West Germans died and 3.5 million West Germans were wounded. Moreover, these numbers don't take into account the subsequent deaths that would occur as a result of the radiation poisoning. So you just want to think about that. You had a war game that went from June 20th to June 28th. This is 1955, the middle of the 50s, and it ended up with 1.7 million West Germans dead. What is this tell you? In effect, it tells you that you're destroying Germany to save Germany."

With this video, Harold Daggot has done more damage to unions than Jimmy Hoffa and Lee Kuan Yew — combined. Threatening fellow Americans with losing *their* jobs if “his guys” don’t get a 77% raise while average Americans try to keep up with inflation is the peak of cutthroat behavior. Disastrous approach. The obvious strategy: give him what he wants in the short term, then automate everything you can and break the monopolies these unions have over our economy so he can never make good on his threats.

I’m 100% in support of adults pursuing whatever gender they please, by whatever means they like. More power to you! However, we will look back at this time, when doctors and “professionals” pressured parents to perform surgery and give hormones to *children*, with great shame and regret. The detransition stories are just starting, and they are devastating. These stories always include the parents and children being bullied into making irreversible decisions. They make decisions they don’t fully understand but are told will solve a complex problem. However, in most cases, this “problem” is solved best with love, compassion, counseling, and time. Adolescence is challenging 100% of the time, as we all have experienced. Imagine your darkest and most confusing moment as a teenager. Now, imagine a group of authorities telling you that your gender confusion causes all your pain and that you can solve all of that pain with surgery and hormones. Now imagine the state of California acting to hide this child’s struggle from their parents — and then pursuing a gender transition covertly with the child. That is the crime that is happening right now. We don’t let kids smoke vapes or drink until they are fully informed of the ramifications of those decisions as adults — yet we put them on puberty blockers and have them do surgery to change their gender as teenagers? What is the rush? There isn’t one, so they tell the parents, “Your child will kill themselves if they don’t transition.” This is pure evil. There are no parents who agree with this, there are only bullied and confused parents… and that needs to end now. I say this with unlimited compassion and love for any child or family dealing with gender dysphoria. Please speak up parents.

Allowing a biological male to play basketball alongside biological females would not just in unfair competitively, but there would significant, career-ending injuries. Sophie Cunningham is 100% right If you want to create a new version of basketball that’s less physical, or maybe create weight classes like in boxing, sure, go ahead and do that!

OK, I don’t want to blame the victim, but if you live in NYC rule number one is you don’t interact with anyone you don’t know in the streets Someone tries to stop you, walk faster & put your hand up and say “No!” Loud enough for other folks to hear you They will look for another mark Be alert at all times, someone walks toward you walk away faster or duck into a store — do not worry about offending them, worry about the 1% chance they are clocking you
