What an epic experience. I’m so proud of my leader and our boys. What a season! This is another test of faith & my clan remain insanely loyal. I’m heart broken but have to stay strong for my heir. He is definitely locked into Arsenal for life. Generational transfer completed 🥰

Up until age 30 I was too poor & too focused on building so never experienced a holiday. It’s like I was totally grounded as we had infrequent family trips to the East🇳🇬, at Uni I visited a friend in US, had 2-3 day short work trips to Berlin & Barcelona. 'Daddy we need you' 🥰

Fatherhood is brutal. Don’t get me wrong. There is no better thing I enjoy doing with my time. It's mostly pure joy. But it’s also easily the hardest and most frustrating thing. My girls are pleasant but I still see the embers of future rebellion in them. For now it’s my son Obi (12) with whom I struggle. I know he’s talented, but his natural lack of effort is beyond frustrating. He complains about everything. Literally everything. We’ve been testing time trials for a week. Yesterday morning I had to take my Kaego (10) to the dentist, so I couldn’t train him. I left my instructions, and they called me that he was complaining the entire time. Throughout the day everything I asked him to do was met with complaints and dragging feet. Without the micromanagement, nothing was really completed. Last week, I noticed his comprehensive writing skills were more terrible than normal. So I’ve focused on the improvement of his writing skills (5-10 pages a day until he’s back in school).

Today I turned 45🥳. My daughters Kaego (10) & Nnenna (8). Waiting for Obi's (12) own. Happy Birthday, Daddy! I pray God blesses you with long life, prosperity, and great health. We hope you enjoy this performance. It took two hours to record because we couldn’t agree on who should take the lead! Just know that you are loved and we’re praying that you make plenty of money, stay healthy, and live long. Amen. 🥰😍

Obi (12) wants to be an astrophysicist. Arguably one of the hardest career paths. So Mrs NJOKU encourages him to gaze at the stars whilst I drown him in mathematics to prepare him for it. His super excited about the Excited about the Artemis II explorations.

The Dubai hate is so weird. I don’t think I’ve seen so many people speak negatively & passionately about somewhere they don’t live. I’ve visited and lived all around the world. For now Dubai remains my favorite. Small turbulence 🫣& everyone is soap boxing. 😮💨 exhausting.

Glad to be back with the clan for the holidays. Going to practice n hour a day on Rapkids Half term breaks WPM targets Nnenna (8) - 30 (currently 14) Kaego (10) - 60 (currently 45) Obinna (12) - 50 (currently 30) Benchmarks Typical typing speeds by age (rough ranges) AgeAverage WPM 6–75–15 WPM 8–910–25 WPM 1020–35 WPM 11–1230–45 WPM So if an under-10 child is typing 60 WPM: •That is exceptionally fast •Well above middle-school average •Likely comparable to or faster than many adults •Potentially top 1–5% for that age group, depending on accuracy The key question: accuracy If it’s: •60 WPM at 95–98% accuracy → that’s genuinely elite for under 10. •60 WPM at 85–90% accuracy → still very impressive, but developing control matters. ⸻ This level of speed suggests: •Strong pattern recognition •Good motor coordination •Solid working memory •High repetition discipline That’s a great foundation for: •Coding •Writing •Competitive academics •Self-directed digital learning This will be alongside reading, swimming, math and other exciting STEM related activities.

Kaego (7) is super close to hitting the 40 WPM holiday target. Most days she is hitting 38. The clan gave me a target of 50 WPM. 2nd try I hit 48.2. We're bench marking 2hrs / day of practice. At least 1hr before swimming. My son Obi (9) hit 28.7. Needs to level up. 💪🏾🇳🇬

With Obi (11) attending school in the UAE, I felt compelled to connect with the Black Teachers Network after hearing about it. I would love for my parents and the networking forum to support some of the amazing initiatives that BTN has already started. 2025 will be awesome.
