I went to the exact same location of the Cybertruck accident shown in the Fox News video. This is the US-69/59 Eastex Freeway northbound HOV lane at the Y-split near the Eastex Park & Ride exit (approaching from downtown Houston toward Humble). In the Fox News video, the vehicle failed to follow the right curve, going straight into the barrier. Well, I tested it twice today with Tesla FSD engaged the entire time with zero human intervention. And unless you think I am a hologram speaking to you from another dimension now, it worked out really well. Here is the video of me taking the exact same curve twice, with Tesla FSD v14.2.2.5.

If you’re an Uber driver and your gut is telling you to cancel and drive away, don’t 2nd guess your gut. Just cancel and go. And apologies to all the ladies out there who I know have to deal with some crazy Uber drivers. But I would recommend not saying the “K word” to a male Uber driver before you even get into his car. Also, don’t put your purse on the Uber driver’s arm and start dropping the contents of your purse on him. And yes, Robotaxi fixes all of this. There you are Tesla bulls, are you happy 😂

An middle aged lady figured out that there was no driver in the Tesla Robotaxi, put on her brakes to slow down, and then proceeded to go all around the Robotaxi. If I could describe the look on her face to y'all. It was not excitement. It wasn't even anger. It was a combination of trying to figure out what her eyes were seeing, some cognitive dissonance being pulled from her amygdala to make her feel better and that this Robotaxi really doesn't exist nor does it work, and ultimately a look of "I'm going home and changing my medications". It was funny as hell! 😂

While taking DJ to his hotel in Houston this afternoon, we discussed one of things we keep hearing over and over again in the comments to my video post from yesterday, that the Cybertruck had FSD disengaged for four seconds prior to impact. So after leaving DJ's hotel and heading back home, I went back to the Eastex Park & Ride exit ramp, and did the same thing as yesterday (let FSD take me up the ramp), but this time I disengaged FSD at the exact same location where the Fox News video starts, which was four seconds prior to the impact. I think the video speaks for itself.

While taking my wife to work this morning Tesla FSD 14.3.2 decided to take us off the navigation and on a 3-minute detour of the Woodlands. But then as soon as my wife was saying something about the navigation snafu, FSD showed her what is truly important, as it avoided a car in the opposite lane of traffic coming into our lane while being a jackass trying to go around a school bus full of kids. My wife may not have been pleased with the 3-minute detour, but then Tesla FSD said "put some 'spec on my name woman!"

Tesla Robotaxi Unsupervised gets into a hotel parking lot that blocked off by an Amazon delivery vehicle, another vehicle, and a large Sysco delivery truck. It took Robotaxi a few seconds to figure out what it was going to do and then it went to the side of the hotel to drop me off, and then went behind the hotel to get back out and on to it's next pickup. Pretty impressive!

I only did a short Uber "shift" today and went ahead and wrapped up early for Sunday night and I'm back home. You may ask what's important about that to you JC? Well, let me tell you. As of today, it has now been exactly one year since my last critical intervention with Tesla FSD. It was on v13.2.8, and it took place in a rural part of east Texas (Ainsworth, TX). At that time, FSD didn't appear to recognize that a school bus on the opposite side of the highway was in the process of putting out their extendable stop sign, so I disengaged by manually braking for the school bus. This moment is memorialized in the first part of this clip. Fast forward to version 14.2, and FSD had handled school buses perfectly. The latest example from a few weeks ago in the second part of this clip, but at this point, I have seen this over and over now with zero times ever having to disengage. Also, not only has it been 12 months since my last critical engagement, it's been 42,847 miles since that disengagement (thanks to lots of Uber and a handful of road trips in the past 12 months). Don't get me wrong, I disengage multiple times per day every day doing Uber for non-critical things such as faulty Uber pins, passengers wanting to go to a different spot than the pin they previously set, passengers wanting to go a specific route of their choosing, Tesla NAV wanting to case the entire neighborhood block to get to a destination instead of just making the damn left turn 😂. But none of these things mean a hill of beans to where we are going, which is saving lives. If driving in an 8-figure route around a Wal Mart parking lot instead of disengaging FSD can save even one life, I will do that for an hour (look kids, Big Ben, Parliament). I am certainly no expert, but if Tesla FSD isn't the greatest software ever developed in the history of man, then whip me, beat me and call me Edna. Because I'm clueless to what could be better. Love y'all! ❤️

This CBS LA investigation found that a significantly large percentage of drivers for Uber, Lyft, Doordash, etc. did NOT match their driver profiles on the apps. Uber drivers know exactly what is going on here. Folks can go on Bookface right now and buy ready-to-go accounts to drive Uber, Lyft, etc. They just pay a few hundred bucks and they are driving that same day. And this is not on some shady back channel, this is out in the open. The reporter/investigator asked the innocent question "why don't they just go on the app and apply normally, how hard can it be." Well, it's pretty damn hard if you can't pass a background check. And I probably don't need to remind anyone here on this platform why someone might not be able to pass a background check. Uber Inc. seems to be more busy throwing shade at their partner Waymo, and talking about how they are going to lead the AV revolution, than they ever seem to be concerned about this. But this is dangerous for you and your loved ones. And it's hard on the drivers out there who did it the right way. Everyone loses here, everyone except Uber Inc. But yeah, please go ahead and get on X and tell everyone here another terrible Uber driver story. And then amazingly at the end of your story somehow it never ends with you actually logging a complaint and/or reporting anything to a watchdog organization or journalist. That might be too time consuming, or you might come off as a fascist to your liberal friends. So yeah, just come on X and get the impressions instead. Because deep down, you really don't care. Btw, great job CBS LA

We got someone signed up on the Tesla Robotaxi app today! When XMAN LIVE and I were getting dropped off at the Willowbrook Mall we had several people noticing and coming by. And one very nice lady and her young son approached us to ask how she can use it. So now she’s got the app downloaded thanks to XMAN! Her son Micah really wants to try it out!

After dropping off an Uber passenger who I took home from work tonight in a very rainy Houston, and on my way to pick up my next Uber passenger, Tesla FSD avoided an accident with a truck that wasn’t looking when it backed out into the road. Thanks to Tesla AI and FSD, I’m still out here on these rainy Houston roads getting people home from work. Amazing job Tesla AI! Ashok Elluswamy

Grok in Tesla does English-Spanish translation with a couple of Uber passengers. I love Grok in Tesla! This is now one of the best parts of owning my Tesla. My car not only talks with me, but it talks to my Uber customers as well, in their own mother language. There are still a few quirks with Grok in Tesla, possibly due to there being no microphone for passengers in the back seat, so Grok may cut off and interrupt passengers mid-sentence sometimes, but I have noticed that even this is getting better week-to-week. But overall, Grok in Tesla is an absolute game changer and is making new fans of Tesla from people that have never been in one until getting into the back of mine.

15-year old Houston kid from the West University section of town gets his first experience of Tesla FSD. He had heard about Tesla FSD, but within 8 minutes of experiencing it, about 90% of what he had heard had to be completely thrown into the proverbial trash bin. Now he's wondering just how many other things that he's heard the adults in his life say, they are full of shit about 😂

Tesla FSD 14.2.2.5 Ubered two young men to downtown Houston tonight to meetup with a couple of young women who are their dates. I had to wait nearly 7 minutes on them to get to the car, and when they got there, one had to go back in again real quick since he thought he forgot something. Since it was a Sunday night, I went ahead and waited. But instead of having a conversation with them since I was a little bit pissed, I just shut my mouth and turned on my music instead. Here are my general rules for young people getting into my Uber, if you're ready when I show up, I will let you select whatever music you enjoy, and even blast the bass, so you can get pumped up for your night. However, if you're late, especially this damn late, then you have to listen to music of my choosing. Somewhere tonight in downtown Houston, there are two young African American women wondering why their dates suddenly have Captain & Tennille in their Spotify playlist and their estrogen levels are higher than theirs.
