I don't know him well, but Evangelist Ebuka Obi has won my respect for this. This is how you go from talking to doing, words to action, leading by example. "Aku ruo uno" sounds like a pipe dream until you see bold, gigantic and inspirational moves like this one. Every preacher or business person from the East who's building empires outside the region, should see this and borrow a leaf or two from Evangelist Ebuka. Imagine the number of jobs this mammoth establishment will create in the East. Imagine if we become intentional about this and systematically up the ante, in Ebuka's footsteps. Didn’t realize how much non-Igbos wanted to learn about this aspect of our tradition/culture until I visited the cinemas and interacted with some of the viewers. Surreal. Couldn’t wait for viewers at the Ikeja City Mall, but I met some at IMAX Lekki. The man’s wife told him “that’s Chidi!” He screamed and shook my hands repeatedly saying, “very well done!” “Very very well done. Thank you!” Humbling to say the least 😍
